When Ally is presenting her closing to the jury, the boom mike is visible.
It was mentioned a lot that James Dawson had two daughters, yet you only see the one. I mean the affair was four years ago so the child, already born then, should be old enough to attend the funeral and yet you see Kathy Baker sitting next to only one girl
Ally has the "Dancing Baby" fantasy.

The judge mentions that Ally can dress however she likes in his court. This is a reference to the previous episode, when Ally gets in trouble for wearing skirts another judge deems too short.

When Elaine enters the restroom with a camera filming the fight, the lens still has the cap on it (what would only result in a black picture). However the next scene indicates that she gets everything on tape, what in fact wouldn't be possible then.

During the song that Nelle (Portia de Rossi) was singing, she sang that when she was 9 years old, her father left her. However, a year-and-a-half ago, she told John that her father left at the age of six.
Kimmie can only go on dates if her mother goes too. But in her first date with John, Lynnie is nowhere to be found. This is explained in this episode when John says her mother only starts to chaperone once the relationship deepens.
When Richard and Ling are talking to Cindy and her boyfriend/fiancee, a boom microphone pops in to frame when the camera pans to Richard.
When Sydney is about to kiss John in the unisex, there are two shots in which you see a man enter. In one there is a shoulder, in the other a leg clearly enters the frame, but in successive shots the man isn't there.
Ally buys a house in this episode. But the original plans were for Ally to buy the house at the end of last season, and move in together with Larry. According to the July 10th edition of the National Enquirer, DEK had the original house destroyed because Calista would always cry when she saw the new set.
A part of the scene where Todd accidentally hits Ally on the head with the bathroom stall door was cut out. The part that was not shown was after he hits her Clare pops out of another stall and accidentally pushes Ally with the stall door into Todd's arms. Embarassed by the situation she asks Todd to let her go but when he does she drops to the floor.
Similar to this episode, in the first season finale "These Are the Days," Ally petitions the court to allow two men to switch hearts when one, a family man, is dying from heart problems, and his single friend wants to give him his healthy heart.
Ally first met Principal Deborah Harkness from Maddie's school in "The New Day" earlier this season.
